La Braye Cafe

This design, on a highly sensitive site.

The brief from the clients was to create a new, more attractive building than exists at the moment, which would enable the café to take full advantage of the available views, as well as to remain open (and extend the client base) during the winter months.

In order to reduce the impact of the new building, a green roof has been incorporated which, together with strategic landscape mounding, will allow the structure to blend in to the existing dune landscape.

The elevation facing the sea has been opened up to permit views over the Bay.
