Privacy Notice
On 25th May 2018, Jersey brought into force the new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). The following information is intended to provide you with a guide on how your information is used and your rights under GDPR.
How your information is used
As your Architect, we hold and process certain information about you during the course of our working relationship in order to maintain contact and communication with you during the potential or new project. Also to maintain our administrative records and accounts.
The information that we hold on you includes both personal details and information connected to you and your property.
In some instances, it may be necessary for us to pass on your data to third parties, for example, contractors, designers, suppliers, statutory authorities, etc. Your personal data will be stored for no longer than reasonably necessary, however, some data that we have collected may be required for a longer period in order for us to meet certain legal obligations.
Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:
- request from us a copy of the personal data which we hold about you;
- request that we correct any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate;
- request that your personal data be erased when no longer necessary;
- withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data;
- We do not carry out marketing, nor have any automated decision making.

Transfer of Data Abroad
We do not generally transfer personal data abroad, however, in some circumstances the project may require a supplier based abroad. In this instance the project team contact details may be shared with them for communication purposes only If you believe that we have not complied with the regulations surrounding the processing of your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the Information Commissioners’ Office with regard to your personal data.
