Robert Godel, BA Hons, B. Arch., RIBA - Director
Gaining his architectural education at Liverpool University, Robert worked for Aukett Ltd in London, and for Brock Carmichael Associates in Liverpool and Manchester, where he worked as design architect on a wide variety of schemes including ground breaking masterplanning work for the sustainable redevelopment of Consett Steelworks in County Durham and the development of a new student quarter in an area of derelict dock buildings in Liverpool.
During his time in England, Robert was frequently invited as design critic for student project reviews at Liverpool and Manchester Universities.
He returned to Jersey in 1996, where he was an associate at Nigel Biggar and Partners, working on a number of schemes, including acting as project architect for the award winning Grainville School Science Wing, which uses extensive use of passive energy reduction systems.
In 2000, Robert and Fiona set up Godel Architects, and together they have been sole directors since that time.
He has considerable experience of all aspects of the architectural process and of all types of buildings.
